More Than a Fan Podcast #38: Holmgren Speaks, Browns Lose, NFL Buzz, and Baseball

by Josh Flagner on October 23, 2012

Segment 1:

Ryan and I spend a little time on Mike Homlgren’s press conference, his legacy, and what his exit means for the Cleveland Browns.

Segment 2:

The Browns lost.

Again.

Fancy tidbit that I thought of while talking to @_Believeland and @realcavsfans is that the Cavaliers 26 game losing streak from the 2010-2011 NBA season comprised 31.7% of the NBA season. The Browns 5 game losing streak from this season is 31.25% of the NFL season. So, a five game NFL losing streak – something that’s happened to the Browns four out of the last five seasons – equals that Cavaliers stretch that had us pining for a LeBron James knee injury. (I wasn’t, but I know lots of you were)

(You should really follow those two Cavs tweeters)(Really)(SO MANY PARENTHESIS)

Segment 3:

NFL BUZZ BABY! A tidbit about every game from week 7.

Segment 4:

We squeeze some baseball in, talking New York Yankees, Alex Rodriguez, Detroit Tigers and previewing the World Series matchup between Detroit and the San Francisco Giants.
